Anna María Sigurjónsdóttir photographer and Sigríður Heimisdóttir industrial designer are going to use their knowledge in art and industry to develop new total solutions for companies. The objective is to simplify processes and use creative thinking to the maximum. Anna Maria has a MFA degree in digital photography before and has worked in the US for 9 years i.e. Philadelphia and New York. She has displayed 25 art exhibitions both domestically and abroad.
Sigríður is a industrial designer and has worked abroad most of her career for among others IKEA and Fritz Hansen. She has worked in over 20 different foreign universities, given many lectures and had work studios around the world. Sigga is currently running the company Sigga Heimis.
Pétur Thomsen has a BTS degree in photography from Ecole Supérieure des Métiers Artistiques and a MFA degree from École Nationale Supérieur de la Photographie at Arles in France. Lately he has displayed his work in the national gallery of Iceland (2010), Transphotographique at Lille in France (2010) and Reykjavík Museum of photography (2010) and participated in many group exhibitions e.g. Iceland, Spain, Greece, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Belgium, US and Japan.
Pétur has received many prizes and acknowledgements for his work. In 2004 he has won the distinguished Prix LVMH des jeunes créateurs. In 2005 Pétur was selected one of the 50 most interesting photographers of the future and participated in the reGeneration project in Svitzerland.
The exhibition Aðflutt landslag í Listasafni Íslands was selected the exhibition of the year in 2010 of the Morgunblaðið critics. Pétur has lately received attention both domestically and abroad for his work Aðflutt landslag and Umhverfing, which both are about the man opposite and in the nature and his experiments to shape and change the nature into environment made by man.
Pétur has been teaching photography and holding workshops both in Iceland and abroad. He also is manager of the Nikon school in Iceland. It is possible to attend Péturs courses here at Toppstödin.

Sveinbjörg Jónsdóttir is a graphic designer from the Icelandic Academy of Arts (formerly Myndlista- og handíðaskóla Íslands) and Design and Commercial Art in San Diego City College in USA. She is a part of the design team for Projekt ehf, a company that offers solutions involving product design, manufacturing and marketing. Sveinbjörg has worked as a designer for the marketing department at Nýherji and as a designer for product development and international marketing deparments at Össur. Sveinbjörg has also worked as a designer for the Sóda design studio and the advertising agencies Gott Fólk McCann Ericsson and Hér og Nú. Sveinbjörg is a member of FÍT.

Egill Sveinbjörn Egilsson
Egill is a product designer from The Design Academy in Eindhoven. He is a part of the design team for Projekt ehf, a company that offers solutions involving product design, manufacturing and marketing. Egill previously worked in the R&D department at Össur hf and lead the team that developed manufacturing products.
Egill has been a part time teacher and lecturer at the Iceland Academy of the Arts since 2002, as well as a member of the selection and jury committee. Egill is on the board of directors for the Icelandic Design Centre as well as the director of Product and Industrial Association. In addition to being a product designer, Egill is a licensed mechanic.
On top of everything, Egill is taking an MBA degree at the University of Iceland and sings with the Kjalarness male choir.

Páll is a product designer from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts. He is a part of the design team for Projekt ehf, a company that offers solutions involving product design, manufacturing and marketing. Páll has freelanced as a product designer for a few years while at the same time teaching part-time for the design department of IAA and Technical College in Hafnafjörður. Páll has also worked for the manufacturing section of Marel and for various metal and industrial shops, both in construction and assembly of electric appliances.

Ninja graduated from Technical College of Iceland with a degree in Marketing and has a Msc. Degree in International Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. She is a part of the design team for Projekt ehf, a company that offers solutions involving product design, manufacturing and marketing.
Ninja has previously worked as a project manager in the marketing department at Nýherji as well an operation manager for WBS, which merged with IP Fjarskipti/Hive. Ninja has also worked as a project manager of a prevention project for a charity organization in Malaysia and as a communication agent for an environmental organization in India.

The toy company Fafu was founded in June 2009 and was one of the first entrepreneurs to move into Toppsöðin in September 2009. Fafu designs and manufactures creative toys for children from 1-10 years and forms its business strategy on fair trade. Its founders are Hulda Hreiðarsdóttir which holds a B.Bc. degree in Icelandic and journalism and a diploma in entrepreneurship and Þórunn Jónsdóttir had a degree in business administration. The proceeding of Fafu has been considerable and in the summer 2010 the company moved into Klakið.
Hulda Hreiðarsdóttir has a BA degree in Icelandic and Media Studies and a diploma in Entrepreneurship. She is a part of the Fafu Toys-team. And has broad experience with starting your own firm, communication with manufacturers, certification authorities, business plans, grant applications and concept work. Hulda oversees various tasks at Fafu but mainly logistics and finances of the company.
Þórunn Jónsdóttir has a degree in Business. She is one of the team members behind Fafu Toys. Þórunn is experienced in entrepreneurship, business plans, project management and professional engagements. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Kristleifur er fæddur 1979 og er tölvunarfræðingur frá Háskólanum í Reykjavík. Hann tekur sér ýmislegt fyrir hendur eins og að hanna og smíða hljómflutningstæki. Kristleifur hefur fengið Hrafn á verkstæði Toppstöðvarinnar í lið með sér til að smíða álbox utan um magnara. Þeir eru í grunninn frá 41Hz.com og eru útfærslur á Tripath-kubbum sem hljóma ótrúlega vel og eyða næstum engri orku. Hugmyndin er að smíða sjálfur óvenjulegar græjur sem „sánda“ vel fyrir lítinn pening og dreifa svo kunnáttunni sem víðast – til dæmis umræddra magnara og “full-range” hátalara, þar sem ein keila skilar öllu tíðnisviðinu og hátalarakassinn er hluti af akústíkinni. Þetta gefur mjög sérstakan og opinn hljóm. Síðar verður smíðaður ghettoblaster sem spilar mjög hátt og mjög lengi á batteríum.

Stefán Pétur Sólveigarson útskrifaðist sem vöruhönnuður frá Listaháskóla Íslands árið 2006. Hann er sjálfstætt starfandi vöruhönnuðir og stundakennari við Listaháskóla Íslands. Verk Stefáns Péturs eru margvísleg og spanna allt frá spilum og kertastjökum til verðlaunagripa og merkinga á mannvirkjum. Hann reynir fyrir sér með form og efni og sækir fyrirmyndir úr öllum áttum. Hann nálgast hönnun eins og vísindamaður og telur hönnuðum nær ekkert óviðkomandi þar sem hönnun snúist fyrst og fremst um lausnir.
Þorsteinn Geirharðsson is an architect and product designer, educated in Austria, Canada and Italy. He has worked for architecture firms from 1980 and ran his own studio from 1992. He has as an architect specialized in educational and healthcare facilities. Þorsteinn has worked on various committees and boards as well as taken part in various projects on behalf of professional bodies for architects, product designers and Form Island. Þorsteinn worked for 2 years for Ingo Maurer, lighting designer in München, designing and developing lamps and lighting. Currently he is working on product development in that area at Toppstöðin.
Valgerður Magnúsdóttir hannar undir nafninu Vala. Vala lauk námi af Listnámsbraut Fjölbrautarskólans í Breiðholti og árið 1998 hélt hún til frekara náms í keramiki og skúlptúr í Engelsholm í Danmörku. Árið 2007 hóf hún nám í hönnun í Iðnskólanum í Hafnarfirði.
Vala starfaði sem aðalhönnuður tímaritsins Fimir fingur í nokkur ár. Vörur hannaðar af Völu voru framleiddar og seldar í þúsundum eintaka í versluninni Völusteini og í heildsölu til verslana um land allt. Vala hefur að auki unnið sem leiðbeinandi í trémálun, keramikmálun og almennum hannyrðum.
Vala hefur reynslu af verslunarrekstri þar sem hún var um árabil verslunar- og innkaupastjóri hjá Völusteini. Síðar varð hún verslunarstjóri og útlits- og framsetningarstjóri í verslunum Leikbæjar.
Vala hefur komið sér fyrir í Toppstöðinni og vinnur nú að hönnun á fylgihlutum í barnaherbergi, leikföngum og föndurpakkningum. Það sem Vala leitast eftir í hönnun sinni er að hægt sé að vinna með hana á fjölbreyttan hátt og að viðskiptavinurinn/notandinn hafi val um endaútfærsluna. Markmiðið er að opna verslun með áherslu á íslenska hönnun handa börnum eftir hana sjálfa ásamt öðrum hönnuðum og handverksfólki.
